When it comes to procrastination some people have it and some people don’t. The people who don’t know how to procrastinate don’t you worry because I can teach you. I am a perfectionist when it comes to the art of procrastination. It requires a specific mindset and type of person. It may be a tough journey breaking down your work-ahead mentality but I promise you can do it! Here are 8 ways to master the art of procrastination:
1. When you get a major project assigned to you, write the date down and wait to do it until the day before.
2. If you have an online quiz due at 11:59 take it ten minutes before and submit it with a minute to spare.
3. When doing homework, turn on the television and alternate between homework and your show. (bonus points if you get so into the show you watch a whole season before finishing homework.)
4. When you’re overwhelmed by all the homework you have left and see a message pop up on your phone asking if you’re busy, immediately respond and make plans to hang out.
5. Take your homework and throw it in your backpack and keep it zipped until you get to class.
6. When thinking about how to get ahead in class, do it while starring at your cart when you’re online shopping.
