If you are a normal human being, chances are you do not enjoy working out. I have a deep hatred for all forms of exercise. But with summer upon us, so is the dreaded "bikini season" and if you're like me you would prefer to not have to work for the very sought after "summer bod". Here's 8 things you can do to help you stay in shape without actually having to exercise.

1. Park Far Away From The Restaurant

When you go out to eat make sure to park your car as far away from the restaurant as possible. This way you can burn some extra calories before and after your meal walking to and from the car.

2. Get Your Tan On

Because it's summer this means it's probably really hot and humid, so you will sweat. You can easily work on your tan and also burn some body fat.

3. Go For A Swim

I'm not saying you have to be Michael Phelps and do laps, but take a moment to cool down in your local pool or lake.

4. Chase The Ice Cream Truck

Isn't there some saying, "nothing is handed to you, you have to work for it"? If you want that vanilla cone with rainbow sprinkles you gotta put in a little work.

5. Go To The Beach

Walking in sand takes so much effort, it must count as some time of cardio.

6. Take A Nap

Depending on your weight, you can burn up to 69 calories per hour while sleeping!

7. Go On A Shopping Spree

Walking around the mall for a couple hours is a guaranteed way to burn a couple extra calories.

8. Go See A Sunrise/Sunset

Wanna get that perfect sunrise or sunset picture for VSCO? Take a hike. No literally climb a mountain or something, the view is probably better up there and it's a sure fire way to get the blood pumpin'.

Really though, how important is it to get the perfect "summer bod"? I guess there's always next year.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
