Watching TV is one of my favorite things to do when I don't have to do anything else.. or when I don't want to do anything else. Here are eight shows that you need to watch.

1. "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"

This is one of the funniest shows I've watched in a long time. It's about a girl named Kimmy who is trapped in a bunker underground for 15 years and ends up escaping and moving to New York. It sounds dark, but I promise it's so funny. Tina Fey is one of the creators and also makes a few appearances. Seasons one and two are now on Netflix, so you can binge the night away.

2. "Catfish"

This is one of the craziest and suspenseful real life shows out there. Catfish is about people who are trying to figure out if the person they've been talking to online is actually who they say they are. The hosts Nev and Max are hilarious and they have really good chemistry. Catfish airs on MTV on Wednesdays at 10.

3. "Ru Paul's Drag Race"

I love competition shows and this one by far is my favorite. RuPaul is a well known drag queen. Every year, she has drag queens compete and the winner gets crowned as the ultimate drag queen. This show is really entertaining, funny, and most of all sassy. Drag Race is on Logo on Mondays at nine.

4. "Alone"

Alone is about 10 people who live in different parts of the woods by themselves for a year without a camera crew. All they have is the 10 items they chose to bring from a list. They can call out anytime they want and the emergency rescue team will come and get them. The last person left wins a cash prize. Alone is on the History Channel.

5. "Jane The Virgin"

Jane the Virgin is about a girl named Jane who accidentally gets artificially inseminated and ends up being pregnant. She is also still a virgin. A lot of other twists and turns happen that are shocking and crazy.

6. "Big Brother"

Another competition show that's only on during the summer, Big Brother is about 18 people who live in a house without contact to the outside world. They are constantly watched by cameras and there is even a live feed that people can watch online. The winner of Big Brother wins 500,000 dollars. It's also on three times a week! Big Brother starts June 22nd.

7. "Friends"

If you haven't seen Friends yet, you must live under a rock. Just kidding. But seriously, watch Friends!! The journey of 10 seasons with six friends will make you laugh and cry at the same time. Every season is on Netflix. It's amazing and my all time favorite.

8. "Deadliest Catch"

This show has been on for a long time, but who doesn't love watching a bunch of guys fish for crabs and make thousands of dollars in one season? I'm also crying because I realized that the amount of money they make could pay for my entire college.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
