8 TV Shows to Binge on Netflix

1.Scandal

This is a fast-paced drama centered around a fictional President and the white house. Scandal has twists and turns and drama that will keep you waiting on the edge of your seat for the next episode. I remember several times where my mouth dropped open in shock from the ends of episodes and cliff hangers.

2.TVD

The Vampire Diaries is a classic show that has everything; drama, humor, mystery, romance, sci-fi; you name it. It is based on the existence of vampires and other supernatural creatures in the town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. TVD has led to several spin offs including the Originals and Legends. The show is long but worth every episode and definitely binge-worthy.

3.Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl is another classic that focuses on the lives of Manhattan's elite and their families as they navigate the Upper East Side. This show is filled with dram, so keep the tissues next to you as you watch. Gossip Girl is also very entertaining and is a show that can be watched several times, speaking from personal experience.

4.iZombie

iZombie is about Liv Moore, a medical resident turned zombie, and subsequently coroner. She eats the brains of her patients to help solve murders and crimes by experiencing the lives and memories of the victims. This show is basically everything you could ask for wrapped in one; mystery and sci-fi, with a touch of drama and humor. iZombie is a show that I would recommend if you are looking for something to keep you intrigued and interested.

5.Hart of Dixie

Your southern dreams will be satisfied by this show; in fact by the end I wanted to move to a small town like Bluebell, Alabama and start a career in the south. The show documents the transition of doctor Zoe Hart from her fast paced career oriented life in NYC to the slow, homely town of Bluebell, Alabama as she follows in her father's footsteps. Watching Zoe adjust to small-town life as a city girl is entertaining and the show is very heartwarming. Hart of Dixie is 100% bingeworthy and keeps you wanting to watch more.

7.The Good Place

The Good Place is a show with many, many twists and turns. I thought I understood the show but then I got to the end of the first season, and boy oh boy was I shocked. The Good Place is a feel good show that is very humorous and also very enlightening.

8. The 100

The 100 is a sci-fi show that makes it hard to drag yourself away from Netflix. It is a very interesting show and every season brings something new and different along with it.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
