8 Things I want my Exes to Know

Exes. We all have them and if you don't maybe you're lucky, but one day you'll have one or two, maybe three or four. Often times after a break up there are things you want your ex to know. Weather it is in total bitch mode because you're angry or it is in a nice tone because you understand. If I could tell my exes somethings today, here is what I would tell them:

1. At one point I did love you

Yes, back then I did love you and I loved you with all my heart. I made memories with you, I had plans with you, I was happy that I could love someone like you.

2. You showed me what I deserve

We are exes for a reason. Something didn't work out quite the way it needed to, and from that I learned what I want and what I don't want in my relationships.

3. I am doing okay

You might from time to time look me up on Facebook of Instagram and see what I am up to. I can promise you that I am ok and just being my crazy self.

4. You don't get another chance

While my heart hurts to say this, things were ended for a reason, I cried a lot of tears when that happened, I worked hard to seal up my broken heart, and to be okay again. So no I won't give you a second chance, that ship has sailed

5. I hope you are truly happy

I really do, I want you to wake up every morning and have a smile on your face and be truly happy with yourself and your life.

6. You were an amazing chapter in my life

Weather the relationship was long or short that time was always so fun. The chapter is filled with laughs, happiness and memories.

7. You made me happy

I remember that I had this glow on my face 24/7. I smiled every time you texted or called me. I would smile every time I talked about you, I hope that I made you happy too.

8. I want to thank you

Thank you for all you did for me. Even if I didn't know it, I appreciated it more than you know. You made me feel so beautiful and so happy.

So although you hurt me, although you put me through lots of pain when things were ended, I think I finally got my last words out to you.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
