Animations are the best kinds of movies (and my personal favorites), especially when they involve characters that really resonate with you or bring some laughs into every scene. Aside from Frosty, Olaf is one iconic snowman that really sums up the holidays. Here's how:

1. Eating all the time.

The holidays mean baking cookies with friends, eating lots of snacks being stuck at home, holiday dinners and corporate parties, you just find yourself stuffing your face without even noticing!

2. Being occasionally sad.

After a full year of reflection, sometimes it's hard not to regret all the things you didn't do. Sometimes you feel like you still haven't found yourself yet, or that you're (literally) falling apart. But the New Year's gives us a chance to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and start over again.

3. But getting to see your friends to make it all better.

Nothing better than spending some quality times with the people that care about you and do fun activities (with lots of hugs!)

4. Getting excited about the snow.

As much as we complain about the cold weather, shoveling, and getting stuck inside the house, snowfall is always the most exciting part of the holidays.

5. Holiday parties and dancing...

Until you feel like your legs are going to fall off because there's just something about the holidays that gets you a lot more excited than usual. It just feels like there's never enough of you to go around when there are so many places to be at once! (Especially if you are coming home from college).

6. Scoping out all the girls and boys for potential cuddle buddies.

In other words, "cuffing season" and being the best wingman for your friends to meet someone new and be all romantic around the holidays with to take you ice skating and countdown the New Year with!

7. Going on vacation.

A little getaway from the cold never hurts! Getting your tan on at the beach or jumping into a pool to relax is the best way to unwind after a busy year.

8. Mentally preparing for allergy season.

Spring is near, and that means pollen season is on its way! As happy we are to see the green come back and rejuvenate the earth with some color, we totally forgot the fact that we need to stock up on the tissues and allergy medicine. STAT.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
