Have no fear, swing dancing is here! Georgia Tech has annual swing dance events once every month. The next one is on June 2, so bring your dancing shoes or Keds and dance the night away! Lessons go from 8 to 9 PM, and then the dance goes from 9 PM to 12 AM.

2. Georgia Aquarium

Grab your friends and or whoever you want and go to the Georgia Aquarium. If it happens to be your birthday this summer, then you can get in for free on your birthday!

3. Salsa Dancing (Oh-Lai!)

The Fern Bank Museum located in Atlanta, Georgia also has swing dance events. It always falls on the third Friday of every month! Grab your friends and salsa it up!

4. Jennie’s Ice Cream

If you haven’t been to Jennie’s Ice Cream in Atlanta you definitely should! They have great ice cream, and it’s a real sweet treat to go there! They have one off Howell Mill road and at Ponce City Market. This leads me to the next suggestion...

5. Ponce City Market

If you have not been yet, I highly suggest you go, grab some food and walk the beltline. There are tons of great restaurants and a rooftop hang spot at the very top. I have yet to go to the top, but it sounds enchanting!

6. Kayaking/Canoeing

Get a kayak or canoe, and go down the hooch! You can even go tubing down the Chattahoochee river, It’s a ton of fun! Remember to bring a flotation device or else they won’t let you get in, Bring your own kayak, and also, wear water shoes to protect your feet.

7. Bravos! (chop chop chop it up!)

Atlanta just opened up SunTrust Park – it is the new and improved Braves Stadium. Look up tickets online and get your chop on!

8. Summer In The City

If you are looking for a new church home or just to meet some new people, Passion City Church is having something called Summer In The City. It begins on Wednesday, May 31. It will be held on most Wednesday nights throughout the summer at Passion City Church. You don’t want to miss it!
