While I don't particularly like the time changing and it becoming dark at 5:30, I do thoroughly enjoy the Fall and upcoming holidays. I don't drink coffee, so I am not sure what Pumpkin Spice tastes like, but I love knowing that as is comes out, my favorite time of year is just around the corner.

1. The Cooler Weather

I love the coolness that fall brings in. Of course in Mississippi it doesn't show up as early as we'd like, but I know that it is coming and the idea of a bonfire on a cool and crisp night brings me joy. I absolutely love pulling out my favorite cardigans and scarves even if it is just for a quick walk around the apartments with my dogs. Plus, I think fall clothes are much cuter than spring attire most of the time.

2. Thanksgiving

I loooooove Thanksgiving. Of course because of my family, but also the food. Who doesn't? I love the turkey. I love the green bean casserole. I love the ham. I especially looooove the stuffing! I love getting up and helping my mom cook with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on in the background. I look forward to seeing Santa at the very end signaling that Christmas is coming! I can't wait to begin my own traditions one day. This is actually my first one married, so I am thrilled about the excitement this year will bring.

3. Hallmark Holiday Movies

I obsess over the holiday movies that the Hallmark channel releases each year. Not only do we get to re-watch for the 100th time movies that have previously premiered years before, but I also look forward to the new movies that the stars that I love and watch every year star in new movies.

4. Freeform's Countdown to the 25 Days of Christmas

Not only does Freeform get you super pumped up with the 25 Days of Christmas, but they have a whole countdown to the actual 25 Days of Christmas! These movies get you in the holiday spirit without actually necessarily pounding Christmas in to you too early and play all day long! They show a variety of classic holiday movies such as "Jack Frost" and "The Year Without Santa Claus", but also our favorite Disney or Pixar films like "Despicable Me" and their premier showing of "Inside Out". I mean we also cannot forget the greatness of the Harry Potter weekends that I know I enjoy thoroughly.

5. Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas

It's pretty obvious that if I like the countdown to the 25 Days of Christmas then I like the actual thing as well. Unfortunately I do not have cable at the time being, however when I go home for the holiday's you can bet that i'll be curled up in my favorite pajamas and cozy fuzzy socks possibly in a blanket fort getting down to all of the greatest Christmas movies of all times.

6. Family

My all-time favorite part of fall is the holidays that bring me and my family together. This year is going to be exciting because it'll be my first Thanksgiving and Christmas married! I am looking forward to the time off that I will be able to spend in my family's presence away from work and the busyness of life. Family is incredibly important to me and I pray that I never lose sight of this in the years to come and I pray that you don't either.

While fall can be a depressing time of year for some as the weather changes and it becomes dark early, I truly look forward to these things to keep me excited and joyous. Fall is my favorite time of year and although I love the summer sun and long days spent outside, nothing can compare to the feeling that fall brings!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
