Summer is the time for traveling and discovering the world around us! One of my favorite things to discover during summer is albums and songs by various artists that align with every one of my moods. Since summer 2018 is right around the corner, here are some albums I have found that should make your summer playlist.

1. "As She Pleases" by Madison Beer

Personally, this is one of my favorite albums. The amount of emotion that is put into this album is phenomenal and there's a song for literally every emotion you could be feeling. My favorite songs from this album are "Tyler Durden" and "Home With You."

2. "Invasion of Privacy" by Cardi B

I love the variation of songs on this album and how Cardi puts all of her heart an soul into the lyrics of each song. Some of the best songs are "Be Careful" where she put her heart on the line and the very first song on the album "Get Up 10" is the perfect introductory song on any modern day album. She also incorporated some of her mega-hits like "Bodak Yellow" and "Bartier Cardi" on this album, too.

3. "My Dear Melancholy," by The Weeknd

This sentimental album is perfect for those late summer nights of driving around with your closest friends with the top down. This is The Weeknd's best album to date and each song is super relatable if you've ever been in love or lust before.

4. "The World Is Yours" by Rich the Kid

This album has a lot of songs that are perfect for fun days at the beach or out and about with some of your favorite people. This album includes one of my current favorite songs called "Plug Walk" and it makes me dance every time it comes on!

5. "Culture II" by Migos

This 24 song album has a great number of hits ever since its release earlier in 2018. The most upbeat and popular songs are "Stir Fry", "Walk It Talk It", and "Motorsport", but the song that makes me want to jam out with the people around me is called "BBO"!! It's a true bop!

6. "EVOLution" by Sabrina Carpenter

This album came out in 2016 and somehow I still can't stop listening to it. Every song was written with such intent and care that you can't help but sing along and jam out to the highs and feel emotions during the lows. It's one of my favorite albums and I highly recommend it!

7. "Evolve" by Imagine Dragons

Since they're going on tour for this album this summer, I figured it would probably be right to add them to this list since their album is phenomenal! Personally, I'm not always into more alternative music, but this new album has almost every genre in one album. I am in love with the song "Walking The Wire" and you should check it out!

8. "Ep 1" by Qveen Herby

Do you remember a little singing duo called Karmin that was super popular in 2012 for their song "Brokenhearted"? No? Well, you'll remember the girl, Amy, because of her insane singing and rapping skills! Since Karmin, Amy is now her own artist called Qveen Herby and her first EP came out recently and it's fantastic. I love the song "Busta Rhymes", so check out this EP and when you're done, go back and refresh yourself on some Karmin songs because they were great!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
