Being a photographer is a wonderful hobby, but it can come with some struggles.
I've been dabbling in the art of photography since I was 11 years old and I found my parents old Canon Powershot collecting dust. I have since upgraded to a Canon Rebel t4i but learned new struggles that come with the art.
1. Different Camera Lenses
There are so many lenses with so many different uses that it's hard for me (more like my bank account) to keep up with. The best thing to do is focus on one style of photography you enjoy and get lenses to better that style of photography. It's still hard to resist viewing camera lenses as some expensive collection where you feel compelled to get them all.
2. Seeing Photographers Below You*
Blurry iPhone photo with an outdated Instagram filter? How quaint.
3. Seeing Photographers Above You
Look at the creativity, the color palette, and detail! My photos look like I took them on an iPhone with an Instagram filter on top.*
4. Getting The Hang Of Moon Photography And Never Stopping
You can't have too many photos of the moon, right? Everyone loves the moon... right?
5. All Of Your Friends Get Annoyed When You Have Your Camera
Come on, just one more photo. I'm really getting the hang of this new mode! Okay, last photo I promise. Okay, maybe just a few more...
6. Snow Photos
Snow?! Is that snow?! Wow! Who knows when this will happen again. Time to fill a 1TB memory card in a day!
7. Trying To Get That Perfect Fourth Of July Fireworks Shot
How many attempts will you make until you frustratingly give up? Those sly buggers will end up blurry in 99% of the photos, yet we will always keep trying.
8. Annoying The Crap Out Of Pets
Putting random objects on them to make them seem cuter than they already are, forcing them to sit still for way too long, but always rewarding them with love and food.
*Disclaimer, this is intended as a joke and not intended to offend anyone. Also, these are all my photos, so I'm really just dissing myself.
