Not having a boyfriend on Valentines day is not bad at all when you have awesome friends and sisters to spend the day with you watching movies, creeping on Instagram, eating sushi, and making fun of people.
1. They will cuddle you without any complaint.
Let's be honest all girls love to cuddle, and most guys do not. Instead of a guy getting frustrated, your best friend is right there with you to give you all the attention you want. Thanks Kelsie for letting me cuddle you during senior trip.
2. No judgment on the food you eat.
Girls have a serious appetite. We can eat more than guys can if we really try. We also have weird combinations of foods we like to eat, and we can not eat the weird combo with guys around. Fruit Gushers and sushi? I love them together. I definitely spent too much money living with Kinley eating out five times a day during the summer, but it was totally worth it.
3. You can be a total b-word.
No matter how sarcastic, blunt, or rude you get with them, they always know you are just playing around. They will always lash it back, and you know they are just playing. I am so glad Hannah can deal with me every day.
4. Same hate for people.
Even though y'all love each other, you have the same hate for the same people. Y'all can trash talk one person for a whole hour without even realizing how much time has passed by.
5. Only a FaceTime away.
Even if you are not with your friends at the moment, you can text, call or my favorite, FaceTime each other. It instantly cheers you up, and you have company for a while because you don't know how to tell each other bye.
6. They know your favorites.
Whether it be a song or a food, no matter what y'all are doing or where you are, they know exactly what station to put on and what food to order. Shout out to Kinley and Casey for always ordering my food for me.
7. Always excited to be with each other.
It doesn't matter if it's been an hour or weeks since you have seen each other, you still get the same excitement and joy getting to be reunited. So glad Brooklynn still gets excited to see me after 12 years.
8. They know exactly how to cheer you up.
No matter how sad you get, your friends know exactly what to do and say to cheer you up. You do not have to tell them what is wrong. They just bring junk food and are prepared to watch whatever Disney movie you want to watch. Shout out to Abby for having Girl Scout Cookies to cheer me up.
