Now I may be slightly biased and all, but with all of the drama that comes with most relationships, sometimes the girl who's one of the guys is the best of all worlds.

1. We won't complain about your friends.

Because chances are, we're already friends with your friends because girls are way too much to handle sometimes.

2. We'll willingly hang out with your friends too

The biggest reason we're one of the guys and prefer to be is because girl drama is annoying and so are girls some most of the time. We don't have time for stupid immature games and drama in our friendships so there's no way we want to start bringing that stuff into our relationships.

3. We'll gladly come to your hockey/football/baseball/soccer or whatever games

Because we're probably already a huge fan of whatever sport you play, we'll be more than happy to come to your games and watch every minute. We'll cheer and yell and probably maybe embarrass you just a little when you score and really embarrass you when someone cheap shots you and gets away with it. We also won't be afraid to tell you when we think you played like garbage, just to warn you. And if you miss a shot or an empty net? We definitely won't let you forget about it. Want to know what will make us swoon? Look up and point at us when you score a goal, works every time. Heads up, though, we're not going to wear your old jersey, that's weird and we know how much it probably smells and we're not about that life.

4. We'll gladly watch sports with you

Not only will we go to your games without being asked, but we'll be perfectly content with just hanging out on a Saturday night and watching whatever hockey/soccer/football/baseball whatever game's on TV. It'll make things even more entertaining if we have different favorite teams who end up playing each other.

5. We hate drama

The biggest reason we're one of the guys and prefer to be is because girl drama is annoying and so are girls some most of the time. We don't have time for stupid immature games and drama in our friendships so there's no way we want to start bringing that stuff into our relationships.

6. We're not high maintenance

Seriously, we're not. We don't need some elaborate planned out date everytime you want to take us out. Order pizza and turn on a hockey game and we're all set. Bonus points if you take us to an actual live game.

7. We have a sense of humor

We can take a joke and have a comeback ready. We're not going to get offended when you tease us about our hair or what we're wearing because chances are we have something to say about you too so be prepared for a battle of wits if you're going to give us a hard time about anything. Also be prepared to get hit because if we can't think of a comeback we just might hit you instead.

8. We don't want to hurt you

We've been around guys enough to know that you guys experience heartbreak just as bad as girls do in relationships. We've seen our guy friends get played, cheated on and hurt and more than likely gotten a little very angry. We're not about the drama, the lying, the cheating or the stupid immature games and we're not out to hurt you.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
