Now that its finally dropping a few degrees, it is time to open up our closets to welcome some new fall fashion must-haves. Fall is personally my favorite season, because it just screams "cozy." What is better than being snuggled up by a warm fire on a Friday night being wrapped up in the the most comfortable sweater and your cute riding boots? Absolutely nothing! So here I have put together a list of a few items that could add to your 2017 fall wardrobe, without breaking the bank!

1. Chunky knit sweaters.

These are definitely the number one fall NEED. I love these because they usually have holes in them so you can get away with wearing them in the mid 60's and not die of a heat stroke. They also make you look super put together when all you did was throw on a sweater over some leggings.

2. Over the knee boots.

I'm sure everyone saw at least ten pairs of these on Halloween but, over the knee boots have become a must this season. They are so trendy and are great with or without a heel. They look super expensive but can actually be found at places like Target and Forever 21. So there is no excuse that they do not find a place in your closet this fall.

3. Sock booties.

Another must-have shoe ware are sock booties. Especially being in Florida it is a gift when it gets a little cold. But these can be worn with a cute romper or dress on game days or any occasion when it's still in the 70's or 80's.

4. Jean jacket.

Remember when you were 5 years old and your mom always dressed you in a jean jacket? Well, guess what? They are back and better than ever. I personally love jean jackets and think they add an edgy look to any outfit. They can easily be thrown over a t-shirt and leggings and you look great without even putting in much effort. And the oversized, the BETTER.

5. Mules.

Another throwback that is making its way back are mules. I remember always wearing my mom's mules around the house when I was about 3 and 15 years later they are back and cuter than ever. These shoes are great for the fall days where it's too cold to totally expose your toes in flip flops but also too hot to wear boots.

6. Chokers.

Easily the most needed accessories for this fall are chokers. When I go out I honestly never leave the house without a couple chokers on. I'm always asked where I get them and everyone is shocked when I answer with "Forever 21, $5." They will turn your fall outfit from a 7 to a 10!

7. Socks.

Cute, fuzzy socks are another fun accessory. These are more for staying in and watching a movie or going to class, but regardless just as important. They will keep your toes warm and cover that awkward part of your legs that don't get covered between your leggings and sneakers while adding some spunk to your outfit.

8. Western belt.

For those times where you have to wear jeans *cringe* a cute western belt will always make a plain t-shirt and jean outfit look amazing.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
