Being from Orlando, I've always dreamed of the day I could join my older friends in their extravagant trip around Epcot and get a taste for food and alcoholic beverages from other countries. Finally, I have joined the 21+ club and get to experience this first-hand. It's not always easy to finish a drink at each country, along with the heat and crowds at Disney. Instead, try and choose drinks you know will be worth it for the abnormally high prices. Here's a list of some drinks that you HAVE to hit while you're making your rounds.
1. Frozen Margaritas in Mexico.
It's not a complete trip around the world without a pit-stop in Mexico. The frozen margaritas are to die for when the Florida heat is hitting you hard. I prefer fun flavors, as well.
2. Limoncello in Italy.
Italy is known for its exquisite taste in food and beverage, so you really can't leave without picking up a Limoncello. It's just refreshing enough to keep you going.
3. Sake in Japan.
If you've never tried Sake, you're in for a treat. Stop for some Sake in Japan, and maybe even add some sushi to pair it with.
4. Grand Marnier Orange Slush in France.
One of the most popular drinks in Disney's France pavilion, you'll enjoy this summery, frozen drink. You can never go wrong with this one on a hot day, either.
5. Alcoholic Tea in China.
Yes, there is such a thing as tea and vodka. Thank me later. The China pavilion has multiple alcoholic teas to choose from, there has to be one to suit your preferences. You can't miss this one.
6. Sangria in Morocco.
If you're a big Sangria fan, Morocco will be the perfect place for you. Their Sangria is delicious and they have a variety of other mixed drinks if Sangria isn't your thing.
7. Beer in Canada.
Although I'm not a huge beer person, I think the best bang for your buck in Epcot is the Canada pavilion. The options are far more vast and delicious compared to the other common beer stops such as Germany or the UK.
8. Wine in France or Italy.
Of course, you can probably find wine in a majority of the countries but as a wine addict, I've found the best options are in France of Italy (no surprise there). They are known for their wine-making.
You might find your preferences vary from mine, but this is a good place to start. Each country has some unique beverages to try so even if you don't finish them all, you can always come back a second time! Just remember to pace yourself! This challenge isn't considered an easy one, either on the wallet or on you.
