The second semester is when college freshmen are finally getting adjusted to their new lifestyles at school. They are learning as they go and are still getting the hang of some things. With the concept "new year, new me" in mind, here are some possible resolutions for college freshmen.
1. "I will be eating healthier"
You know you're tired of fast food and you've just been dealing with it for the fast few months. But deal no more! Make a plan to eat healthier.
2. "I won't stay out so late"
Leave the nights of staying out at all hours for the weekends. Sleep is important, so make it a point to try getting to bed at a decent hour when you have things to do.
3. "I'm going to study"
Some people were actually able to get away with not studying once in the semester, but if that was you, don't expect it to always be that easy. Put forth some initiative and get A's in the new year.
4. "I won't stress the little things"
Everything about college can stress you out. It's hard not to let it get to you, but it's a good idea to try.
5. "I'll call home more"
Your parents love hearing from you! Do yourself and them a favor in the new year by calling home.
6. "I won't do anything illegal"
Do yourself a favor and don't do anything in the new year that can harm you or get you into trouble.
7. "I'm going to the gym"
Maybe the gym has been far from any of your thoughts, maybe you've said you'll go and never did, and maybe you went a few times. But it would be a nice resolution to make it a part of your routine for the new year.
