Post-spring break is one of the most difficult times of the school year. You are so close yet so far away from the end. You worked so hard for so long, so what is the worst that a couple weeks could do to your grades? The answer is a lot. Now is the time to ace your AP exams, finals and finish the year strong! If you need a little help, here are some things you can try.
1. Delete social media until after exams
You might have all kinds of withdrawals once you do this, but trust me, it's for the best. All the hours you spend scrolling through your feed and stalking people will be better spent on memorizing formulas.
2. Put off plans with friends
This doesn't mean become a hermit crab and shut yourself off from the world, but try freeing yourself up on a Friday or Saturday night to study.
3. Study at a new place
You might want to try something new to increase your focus. The library or a new coffee place are always good options.
4. Study with friends sometimes
Actually study, not just pretend to study. If you do, it can be very beneficial since it adds a little variety and enjoyment to the tedious process.
5. Make a plan
Setting daily or weekly goals make you feel less overwhelmed and help you track your progress. This way, you can make sure you finish everything you are trying to get done in the next few weeks.
6. Sleep
This is equally as important as everything else, especially when your brain is working so hard.
7. Keep pushing through
Now is not the time to give up! If you give up now, your effort from earlier this semester will be undermined by your slacking, and that would be unfortunate.
