Now that we have all gorged ourselves on Halloween candy, it’s time to think about the holiday that’s just up the road. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and I love to bring a little slice of it into my friend group with a Friendsgiving. It's times like these that I have never been so thankful for my amazing friends –– plus, I'm always in the mood for a party.

Planning for your Friendsgiving doesn't have to be hard. Follow these tips to ensure it's a hit.

1. Send out an evite

This is a quick and easy way to share important details and keep track of whose coming. Check out Paperless Post- they carry an amazing selection of fall invites that are easy to make and V classy.

2. Theme it

You can't go wrong with a themed party. So, spice things up with making your guests show up in their best costumes! Wear your favorite onesie, dress to impress, or make it a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!

3. Spread the wealth

Teamwork is key. You cook the turkey and leave the rest up to your guests. Split up dishes through a google doc or survey monkey.

4. Cook together

Create a do it yourself dessert bar or plan for a customizable dish you can cook together. I love these puff pastry pumpkin bites or these DIY mini apple pies.

5. Play themed party games

Pin the feather on the turkey, Thanksgiving bingo, minute-to-win-it games. So many options so little time!

6. Create a signature cocktail

Spiked apple cider? Pumpkin Ale? Pumpkin pie shots? Don't knock it till you try it.

7. Festive decor

Hit the 99 cent store to get fall decor on a budget. Grab pumpkins, streamers, balloons, and more for under 15 bucks!

Overall, Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for all the amazing blessings you have in your life. So why not throw a party to thank your friends for putting up with your shenanigans on the daily? Hopefully, these seven tips will help make your next Friendsgiving lit as hell.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
