So, you're thinking about getting your very first tattoo, but there are so many things going through your head that you want to figure out...

1. OMG, WHAT TATTOO SHOULD I GET!?

There are so many creative ideas that people want for their tattoo. Should you make it this color or should you make it that color? Should you make it big or small? Should you get a dragon? Should you get a hot dog? Should you get a person's name but later on realize that they're a catfish? It's absolutely hard to know what you really want!

2. I don't know where I want my tattoo to be on my body!

People want to show off their tattoos, but you have to put in the thought about where it could hurt the most at. Should you put it on your shoulder? Should you put it on your foot? The ribcage might possibly hurt. Or maybe you should put it on your butt since that would be less painful.

3. Where can I find a great tattoo place!?

You do want to be at a place where it's highly recommended for people to go to. Call them up! Look at the artist's designs or go online and look at their reviews? What are their price ranges? What are their ratings? Is it the bomb.com? Do they have a dog too?

4. I want someone to go with me!

Well, you are not sure on how the needle would feel against your skin. But it's perfectly fine to have someone go with you! It might make you feel less nervous! Just think of High School Musical "We're all in this together!"

5. Will my tattoo artist intimidate me!?

Don't lie. Most tattoo artists seem to look really bad-ass and they even have tattoos themselves! Some of the artists can be calm and laid back. Some of them can be awkward and some of them will make you want to scream like Kevin McCallister. But guess what. You made the decision to treat yourself with a new tattoo, like a Christmas gift! Merry Christmas you filthy animal!

6. I just want this to be over with!

You've waited for a little while and your nerves are building up more and more. Palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. There's vomit on your sweater already, mom's spaghetti, you're nervous! But on the surface, you will be calm and ready. Well, except your bank account because it's possible that it will cry.

7. I really hope this won't be painful as it seems!

It all depends on how big you want the tattoo, where you would like it on your body and how long it will take. Just focus on something that will keep you distracted! Think about what you'll be doing after it's done, lurk on someone's Instagram, if the tattoo place is playing a movie then watch it! Or you can make a note to yourself on what Madea would say if she was a tattoo artist. It's best to get through the process whether it's painful or not!

After your tattoo is done...

Hooray! You are finally relieved! You can't stop looking at your tattoo for hours! You want to snap a picture of it and show it off to the world! It's great to have something that is a part of you and there are so many things that can be! That's when you'll want your next tattoo if you're down with getting more!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
