There are hundreds of comic books, TV shows, and movies based off of made up superheroes that go around saving the world in fancy capes and secret masks. As a kid, you fall in love with Batman, Superman, and even the more recent superheroes such as Iron Man and Captain America.

Wouldn't it be awesome if we actually had superheroes in real life, going around doing good for the world?

Well, good news, we do, and you've seen and met at least 7 in your life... They just are missing capes and masks.

1. Mom and Dad

Yes, that's right... Since the beginning of your time, whether you believe it or not, your parents have been your #1 superheroes all along! They watch out for you and care for you more than anyone you will ever know. When it comes time to need saving, you know who the first person you think to call is.

2. Teachers

There is a few times in your life when you will come across a teacher that simply just changes your life. They will see so much light in you, that you'll begin to see it yourself. Teachers are our source of knowledge. Where we learn almost all our knowledge. They use their one mind, to teach hundreds of little mind each year so they grow, now that is a real superpower.

3. Our first responders

Forget the idea of a cape and mask, first responders do more than Batman could ever with a basic everyday uniform. To our firefighters, EMTs, police force, and even 911 operators. Your bravery and passion for protecting and helping others in their times of need, it is beyond any superpower that can ever be created.

4. Military

Military servers are in many ways the reason we can still live freely today. They selflessly fight daily in many different ways, through many different jobs, to protect our country and even the world as a whole. They basically sign a paper that signs their life away, at any moment they are needed. And that is something so special and incredible, it is hard to even type about it without getting emotional.

5. Medical teams

Doctors, nurses, respiratory therapist, radiology team, you name it! Anyone in the medical field is in one way or another a superhero you never know you need until the time comes. People in the medical field work day and night to care for the health of others, and sometimes it really takes a toll on them. It's a strong teamwork that saves lives of many every day.

6. Musicians

Be honest... Could you even imagine a world without music? That is an absolutely horrible thought. In a different way than other real-life superheroes, musicians have a special power to heal and create emotions with their music. Have you ever just had that one song that brought you out of horrible thoughts? Or a song that when it comes on you can't help but move your feet with a smile on your face? Music is so powerful.

7. "Tree huggers"

Without people who truly cared about the Earth and the environment around us, who knows how much worse off we would be right now. Would we even have clean water to drink? Notebooks to write our thoughts in? Food on our table? In many places, people don't have privileges like this, and our Earth lovers continue to make changes daily around the world. It is the most loving superpower someone can have.

Superheroes come in many, many different forms, so many that you see them every day. And hey, you yourself could very well be someone's superhero.

Being Invisible The Best Super Power

The best superpower ever? Being invisible of course. Imagine just being able to go from seen to unseen on a dime. Who wouldn't want to have the opportunity to be invisible? Superman and Batman have nothing on being invisible with their superhero abilities. Here are some things that you could do while being invisible, because being invisible can benefit your social life too.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
