If you haven't met her yet, take a look at Cassie. She is the cutest dog I have ever seen, and I love seeing her on campus every day. Don't think that a dog has much to do during the summer? Think again. I think Cassie has this summer vacation thing figured out.

1. Sleeping In

The best thing about summer is sleeping in whenever you can. Take a tip from Cassie, keep your alarm clock turned off on Saturday mornings.

2. Check Out Bae

When bae is in his romper at the Fourth of July barbecue this summer, you'll probably look at him the same way Cassie looks at treats.

3. Unflattering Snapchats

Some days you don't feel like being pretty, and that's okay! Cassie is the queen of still looking cute while taking less than flattering Snapchat pictures.

4.Summer Photo Shoots

Nothing is better than finding some tall grass and taking some cute photos with your friends. Grab a camera and figure out your best pose!

5. Back to School Clothes Shopping

Because getting that coat for 25% off is totally worth it. Even if it's the middle of July.

6. Hanging Out By The Water

Whether it's by the pool, on the beach, or simply sitting near a fountain, enjoy some water this summer!

7. Pondering The Deeper Things In Life

Take some time to meditate and reflect on some things this summer. You might discover the world's secrets that way.

There you have it! Those are seven things you can do this summer! If you see Cassie around campus, give her a ton of back scratches for me!

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
