7 Starbucks Drinks To Hit Up This Spring

The red cups are gone....

If you're basic (like me) you absolutely love love love the autumn and winter coffee seasons. Just thinking about a pumpkin spice latte or a peppermint mocha frappuccino makes my tummy happy. Alas, after autumn and winter comes spring and, with spring, comes no fun Starbucks flavors... or are there?

Smoked Butterscotch Latte

Have you ever been to Harry Potter World at Islands of Adventures and had a butterbeer? It's a must-do experience, but maybe not often (after all, it is quite sweet). This beverage, however, is a toned down version of butterbeer PLUS caffeine. Damn.

Dirty Cinnamon Chai Latte

'Dirty' isn't exactly the most appetizing word, am I right? But seriously, you're going to dig this drink. Cinnamon chai lattes are so good, but they don't have much caffeine... Well, not anymore. By adding 'dirty,' you take your classic cinnamon chai latte and add a shot of espresso. That'll keep you going for a couple of hours on a tiresome Monday.

Vanilla Bean Frappuccino

I know, it's not a caffeinated beverage for my fellow coffee lovers. However, if you think about it, it tastes just like a vanilla milkshake. Such a good pick-me-up for the middle of the day.

Cappuccino

Cappuccinos are such a classic, but I feel as if they are overlooked at Starbucks (I mean, they do have a lot of appetizing looking beverages to try out). Well, these are one of my favorites to order. The ratio of foam to espresso is just perfect. You can add a flavor or just keep it classic. Customization is so great.

White Chocolate Mocha

This drink is perfect if you want to reminisce about the winter months when peppermint mocha was a thing. Have it hot or have it iced, it's definitely going to tickle your taste buds with its subtle sweetness.

Cool Lime Refresher

If you're not a coffee fanatic but still want a little bit of caffeine for your system, then hit up the cool lime refresher. There are a few flavors of refreshers, but what makes this one so great is that it's like a cool glass of limeade on a warm spring day. Scrumptious!

Iced Hazelnut Macchiato

It's well-known that the iced caramel macchiato is one of the most ordered drinks at Starbucks. However, maybe it's time to switch it up once in a while. Adding a shot of hazelnut instead of caramel still keeps that milky sweetness that everyone loves, just a tad bit nuttier.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
