Music is an outburst of the soul, which allows us to shut the world off for 2 to 5 minutes and let us relax by listening to the tune and words. There are 7 days a week and there are songs that relate to each day of the week. Some songs may not be specifically about a certain, but they can relate to the characteristics of a day.

Here are 7 songs for each day of the week:

1. Sunday

Song: Lazy Song

Artist: Bruno Mars

Sunday is a day of rest. Besides going to church and brunch, we all want to relax and not worry about school and work just yet. Bruno Mars speaks to the people who just want to relax and not think about responsibilities. We do not want to stress over what is going to happen this week, so let's waste our time worrying by jamming to this song and be happy.

2. Monday

Song: Now or Never

Artist: Halsey

Monday is the most stressful day of the week because it throws off our sleeping patterns, tells us it's back to reality and kicks our bottoms to work. Eventually, Mondays come around whether we like it or not.

3. Tuesday

Song: Work

Artist: Rihanna

Tuesday is like Monday Part 2, but with better achievement, since we have gotten through Monday. Tuesday is still barely the middle of the week, so Rihanna speaks to us by reminding us that there is work to be done.

4. Wednesday

Song: Livin On A Prayer

Artist: Bon Jovi

This classic 80s rock song relates to Wednesday since it is the 4th day of the week and is right in the middle. Since this song is about perseverance, it relates to Wednesday because of the "We're halfway there" lyrics and the determination to get through the week.

5. Thursday

Song: Red Lights

Artist: Tiesto

Thursday is one step closer to Friday. The red light metaphor in this dance-pop song is worrying about what's going to happen next week. Since Friday is approaching, we're going to "run them red lights" by finishing the week strong, achieving more, and preparing to have fun over the weekend.

6. Friday

Songs: I Gotta Feeling

Artist: Black Eyed Peas

This upbeat song relates to Friday because Friday is the last weekday and you don't have to worry about going to class or work, after going out on Friday night.

7. Saturday

Song: Good Time

Artist: Owl City and Carly Rae Jepson

Saturday is another day to have fun and relax. This song is perfect for a Saturday since you also don't need to go to work or school.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
