I had to trim this list because there were so many hits...but here are my top seven songs from the 70's.
1. "Take A Chance on Me" by ABBA
Let's be honest, ABBA churned out hit after hit, and "Take A Chance on Me" was no exception.
2. "Changes" by David Bowie
Does this one even need an explanation?
3. "Oh! You Pretty Things" By David Bowie
The lyrics are really interesting, not to mention the actual melody is really fun to sing along to in the shower. (Don't judge me).
4. "Life on Mars?" By David Bowie
Did I mention I have an addiction to Bowie? What can I say? The man's a genius.
5. "I Will Survive" By Gloria Gaynor
This is perfect for after a breakup or when you just need a confidence boost.
6. "Killer Queen" By Queen
It was so hard to pick just one Queen song (they're all so good!), but I think this song pretty much sums up what Queen is about.
7. "The Logical Song" by Supertramp
This song is probably the best Supertramp song (don't hate me). It's also pretty relatable in this day and age, which really highlights how timeless it is.
