Any child knows how tough of a job it can be to not hurt your sibling anytime they make you mad. The worst part is sharing clothes, rooms, food and love from your parents. An even bigger job is being the oldest sibling. If you do not have this responsibility then you might want to scroll through and thank your older sibling(s). If that big sibling job happens to be yours then you will relate to this all too well.
1. At 16 you look like a soccer mom
Rethink wishing for that license, all it means is a ticket to picking up your little siblings from school when your parents are caught up at work.
2. You're an unpaid tutor
Just when you thought you were done withhomework you have to help someone else as if you remember 3rd grade math.
3. You're protective
If someone utters one bad word about your sibling their going down. Even if it's something you secretly agree with.
4. Chores
Your little sibling claims their "too little" to do chores and you're stuck with them.
5. You don't know what privacy is
They are in your business 24/7. Don't even think about shutting your room and sleeping.
6. You've been mistaken as their parent a few times
They look just like you, act just like you and sometimes get mistaken as your own kid. Sometimes it's easiest to pretend you're the parent.
7. You're bored without them
Once you finally get some peace and quiet you realize how boring life really is without them.
Regardless of the extra chores, the fights and the hard middle school math problems, siblings are great. Being an only child would be so boring. The way I see it, us siblings are already preparing for adulthood.
