Although Election day is one of the most important days in US politics and, as Trump would say, a HUGE symbol for our country’s freedom and democracy, but this is why we’ll feel some liberation as this year’s election comes to a close.
1. The negativity in the news and social media will soon cease.
… for now. As the election grows closer citizens, celebrities, news reporters, and politician have made up their minds about this year election. This only fueling the controversies and heated arguments.
2. An end to the low morale.
Particularly towards the US politics and governmental systems. Too many voters are embarrassed and disappointed with the way our government has handled some issues in the election. Polarized parties, FBI investigations and all, it is safe to say we’ll all be happier with them once they finally come to a conclusion about Hillary’s emails and literally everything else.
3. The memes...
Yes, goodbye to the epic Trump and Hillary memes that were funny at first, but are now in the graveyard of all bad overshared memes: your mother’s Facebook.
4. The angry, over-sharing Facebook friends.
Love you all, but please stop.
5. Snide Campaign ads.
Boisterous celebrity endorsements and mostly untruthful or exaggerated commercial campaigns about each of the candidates will soon be over and replaced with a nicer, lighter-hearted Shamwow commercial or something.
6. The Presidential election being the #1 topic of small talk.
I know we just met but…
7. After all these months, a decision will finally be made.
Whether you are With Her or him we will finally have an answer to the question, who is going to be the next leader of the free world?
