7 Reasons To Watch "American Ninja Warrior"
NBC

Not that anyone asked but, here are seven reasons you need to start watching "American Ninja Warrior." (Mondays at 8PM on NBC, Channel 4).

1, This competition show has moved me to tears, almost every single episode, with stories behind the competitorswhether or not their runs ended in success.

2. On the other hand, the runs constantly leave me on edge with their insane obstacles (accompanied by the wonderful commentary of co-hosts, Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbaja-Biamila), and is truly the most exhilaration one can experience when simply sitting on a couch.

3. Every single competitor is #AthleticBodyGoalsand really motivates me to hit the gym (guys and girls)!

4. Any show who's verified Twitter account favorites one of my tweets has my full support.

5. There are some pretty strange costumes.

6. A lot of competitors train together and are supportive of each other. Five-Star Sportsmanship for the Ninjas.

7. I am confident that this season, one or more of these ridiculously fit competitors has what it takes to be the first to claim the title of American Ninja Warrior (not to mention $1 million)!

Entertainment, Patriotism, Emotion...this show has it all. Go watch to see (in Matt Iseman voice)who will be the first AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR!

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
