7 Reasons To Spend Your Birthday In Disney
Carly Halitzer

For starters, Disney is the happiest place on Earth and the place where dreams come true. Being in Disney is a magical experience. Spending your birthday there makes the experience even more magical because you will be treated like royalty for a day. Honestly, who would not want that?

1. It is the happiest place on Earth.

How can you not be happy in Disney? The second you arrive everyone is smiling from ear to ear. People are able to dress up as their favorite characters; judgment free. As you walk down the main street to start on your journey you cannot help the smile forced across your face watching the castle grow bigger as you approach it.

2. There is magic in the air.

It is just something about Disney that makes everyone happy. No matter what you are going through in life, as soon as you arrive in Disney being happy is the only option you have as you slowly feel a smile grow upon your face. I guess all the happiness and pure bliss is caused by faith, trust, and pixie dust.

3. The food is amazing.

Although it is rather pricey finding Disney themed food is not hard. From treats looking like Mickey's heads to meals named after details from movies even eating the food is a magical experience. Besides the food being appealing by sight and sound eating it is sensational and leaving you wanting more.

4. You are always greeted with a smile.

It is not even possible to try to be sad in Disney because the second you are sad someone else will share their smile with you. Every worker greets you with a smile and even strangers will smile at you because you all have a mutual happiness celebrating your day I Disney.

5. Everyone will say happy birthday to you.

When it is your birthday you get to wear a pin that signifies that it is your birthday. Once anyone sees that pin you are automatically wished a happy birthday by everyone and anyone. Workers will call you out even if you are just passing by and say “happy birthday princess.” Hearing those words never gets old, even if you have been hearing them all day.

6. You get treated like royalty.

In Disney, everyone is royalty, or at least gets treated that way for a day. You are always greeted by a smiling face saying “hello princess” and treated with absolute kindness by all workers. Every employee in the park truly goes out of their way to make your day in Disney the greatest day of your life and give you memories that will last a lifetime.

7. All of your dreams will come true.

What is your dream that you wish to come true? Think about it, hold onto it tight, and let your imagination run wild while in Disney. You can meet any of your favorite characters, go on rides you have never been on before, or even be a guest at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Whatever your heart desires will come your way because you are in the place where all dreams come true.

There is nothing left to do, but to start planning your birthday trip to Disney now.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
