My birthday is in late July, and every year of my life, I've wished I had a birthday in the fall or the spring. I mean, a birthday is still a birthday, but I'd rather not celebrate mine in the middle of the hottest month of the year. Here are some reasons why summer birthdays SUCK:
1. It’s hot as hell – unless you’re taking a beach trip, being outside is a no go.
2. Everyone forgets about you (thank god for Facebook).

3. All of your friends from school most likely live spread out across your own state or even in a different state which makes gathering hard.
4. Everyone is on vacation. Every week is a prime vacation week over the summer. Most likely at least one friend has a family vacay planned over your birthday.
5. You’ve never had the experience of getting your locker decorated. Your friends have never decorated your dorm/room with balloons and streamers.

6. You never get to experience going out for your birthday at school. No party hopping and keg stands in the name of your day of birth.
7. When your friends say, “We can celebrate when we go back to school!” you just say "okay" but deep down you know that wont happen. Plus, who wants to celebrate their birthday a month or more later?
