1. A lot of your friends are close by.
Maybe they're not your BFF from high school, but you've still made some pretty good friends in college. Sometimes, you become even better friends with the ones in college because you share your new, different life with them—especially when you live with them.
2. It is easier to make business connections.
Indeed it is! Take advantage of this time to meet up with some extraordinary people that are involved in your major or something similar. More than likely, if they are going into the same field, you will probably be working with them again.
3. If you party too hard, it's okay, because it's college!
But, don't party too hard. There is a 50/50 chance you will wake up with a huge headache and a Snapchat story full of regrets.
4. There are more people to learn more skills from.
Take advantage of all of the learning opportunities! You never know what skill you will have to have in the future. Learn anything you can from anyone you can, and even if you don't learn anything, you'll still have made a connection with a person.
5. Every party has potential to be the best party ever.
Hands down, there will always be tons of alcohol, people and hot guys or gals that have the potential to be your future mate. When you get older, parties get less fun because adults are preoccupied with staying classy and not acting like they are 12... until they reach 50 years old—middle age did some crazy things to my parents.
6. School Clubs
This is the best time to explore anything. Figure out your passions and get involved. So many people regret not getting involved. Also, it's a resume builder!
