It's a fact that cheating can lead to costly destruction. But the question is: why do people do it? There are many reasons (or excuses) people use to justify cheating. You might have witnessed cheating from different sides of the issue. Whether you're the cheater, the one being cheating on, or the one someone's cheating with, you might have heard (or used) some of these before.
1. Lack of satisfaction.
They're lacking emotional or physical satisfaction in the relationship they're in.
2. Falling out of love.
They don't feel invested in the relationship anymore. That's okay - but cheating isn't.
3. Falling in love with someone else.
They found someone new, but they don't know how (or don't want to) break it up with the person they're already with.
4. Looking for something better.
They don't want to end it, because they don't want to lose what they already have. But, they want to explore their other options.
5. Desire to be wanted.
It's not enough for them just to be wanted by one person. They need to be with more people to receive the attention that they think they need to feel better about themselves.
6. Lack of communication.
They don't know how to tell the other person the things that they're feelings.
7. Don't know how to end it.
They don't want to be in the relationship anymore, but they lack the guts to fess up and end it.
