Cup-a-Joe is, in my opinion, the best coffee shop I have ever been to. There are two locations in Raleigh and they are both fantastic. I highly, highly recommend.
3. Governor’s Mansion
This beast of a house is open to the public to tour as long as you sign up on their website. Plan ahead to make sure you get a spot!
4. NC State Sporting Event
As an NC State student I am obligated to encourage anyone who visits Raleigh to attend a sporting event featuring a team from NC State. Football and basketball are probably your best options as far as snagging tickets goes.
5. Pullen Park
If you are looking for an outdoor activity on a warmer day, Pullen Park is the perfect place to go. It’s a great place to ride a bike, walk around, or even try out a pedal boat!
6. Cameron Village
The perfect place to get a bite to eat and do some outdoor shopping. Cameron Village has a bunch of unique shops and is a fun spot to stroll around.
7. State Farmer’s Market
The Farmer’s Market is always a cool place to walk around, especially on the weekends when there are a lot of vendors out. There is also a restaurant at the market that serves great, local food.
