It's the summertime, and what does one typically do on summer vacation? Binge watch Netflix shows, of course! I stumbled upon "Criminal Minds" when searching for a new show to watch and I got hooked after the first episode. The storylines are nothing short of intense, and we can all agree that Morgan has a face one doesn't mind staring at. Another great aspect of this show is the inspirational quotes that are given at the beginning and end of every episode. Listed below are a few of my favorites.
1. "How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours." --Wayne Dyer
2. "Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of overcoming it." --Helen Keller
3. "Love is giving someone the ability to destroy you, but trusting them not to." --Unknown
4. "The strength of a family, like the strength of an army, is in it's loyalty to each other." --Mario Puzo
5. "Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the word." --Albert Einstein
6. "Hope is the thing with feathers, that perches in the soul, and sings the the tune without the words, and never stops at all." --Emily Dickinson
7. "Find the place inside where there is joy, and the joy will burn out the pain." --Joseph Campbell
8. "Forgiveness does not change the past but it does enlarge the future." -Paul Boese
9. "Try again. Fail again. Fail better." - Samuel Beckett
10. "In order to learn the most important lessons in life, one must each day surmount a fear." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
11. "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched -- they must be felt with the heart." - Helen Keller
As you can tell from the examples above, the writers of Criminal minds makes sure to incorporate words of wisdom into every show that can be applied to our daily inspiration. Never underestimate the power of words to make or break your day. What other TV shows have you watched with words of inspiration?
