I've always been told it's is better to be single while you're in school (high school/college) because it creates less stress, responsibility, and overall decreases your list of things to do. Now although I don't completely agree with that because some couples are BA and can work through anything together, but the one thing I do know is that when you're a Senior in college... There are awesome perks of being single.
1. Having "Netflix And Actual Chill" Nights
2. More study time
Hello... Being a senior in college IS NOT easy. It is the final stretch, the home run, you can see the finish line. Within two semesters you're going to have to figure out your next move in life, and on top of that, the tests do not get any easier.
3. No worrying about what your partner is doing in their free time
Welcome to the 21st century... There is a crazy amount of people who get in relationships and cheat, lie, you know how it goes. So when your life is already hectic, who has time to worry about getting cheated on while you are trying to figure out life? No worries about what party they're going to, who they're hanging out with. Just a whole year of focusing on YOU.
4. Less grooming yourself
We all have those two, three, maybe even four days where we are just to lazy to wash our hair, shave, or we forget to brush our teeth at night. Although it is pretty gross, and we should probably do less of it, the perk is, who is going to know or care besides you?
5. You can date around
In the seriously little free time you have, you may get asked on a date by the cute guy from physics, or someone you met getting coffee, who knows? The sky is the limit.
6. You Get More Time With Your Friends
Now it is not a bad thing at all that when you get into a relationship you see that person more than other friends because they become one of your best, if not your best friend! The perk of being single as a senior in college is that you have the freedom to have more study buddies, club partners, and people that are just there for moral support.
