7 Perfect Ways To Transition Into The Fall Season
Spare Change News

It's fall! The time of year when Halloween and Thanksgiving takes place and all the leaves turn into vibrant colors of orange, red, and brown. Did I mention the pumpkin spice latte that is back on the Starbucks menu? Or the fact that this is my favorite time of year?

A thrilling year where the breeze is just right and it's not too cold or hot. But how to transition into this new season? Well, there are many perfect ways to slowly get yourself ready for the fall season. I'll teach you 7 perfect ways.

1. Go to a pumpkin patch!

Pumpkin patches are absolutely the best. A whole field of bright orange pumpkins that smell absolutely amazing and excellent for jack-o-lanterns as well as providing you and your family a magnificent pumpkin-based recipe such as pumpkin pie. Mmm... Absolutely scrumptious. But that's not all! You also can go with friends or family to get yourself a cute pumpkin or to take some cute authentic fall pictures for your social media or for your journal.

2. Take out (buy) your infinity scarves!

The weather is slowly becoming chilly and what's a better way to say, "I'm cold but I'm still fashionable?" Absolutely nothing. In fact, putting aside the fact that these scarves are fashionable, they are absolutely amazing at keeping you warm! No other scarves can keep me warmer than infinity scarves can!

3. Take a nice trip to Starbucks and order yourself a nice hot cup of pumpkin spice latte!

Starbucks? Well, every year when the fall season arrives, I head to Starbucks to grab me a nice hot cup of my favorite: pumpkin spice latte. It's like a tradition every year. In fact, I bring my family along with me, so in a sense, it's a way for me and my family to bond! But definitely, I'd say this would help get you in the mood for fall, especially since this latte includes pumpkin.

4. Are your boots out yet?

The time of year has finally arrived! Boots are officially back in season as well as the boot socks that make your boots look cute! Wearing boots is definitely one of my go-tos whenever fall arrives. I love how they look one me and how amazingly warm they feel, especially since it's starting to get a little chilly here in Georgia!

5. Fall Decoration!

I love decorating my room. Besides, surrounding myself in fall decorations allows me to become more in the fall mood! To wake up and go to sleep in a room that is filled with beautiful fall decorations (such as this cute leaf painting canvas I have on my wall) is absolutely blissful.

6. Attend a carnival or fair with your friends!

I love attending carnivals with my friends before or as the fall season begins. It allows me to take a break from schoolwork and to provide a closing of summer as I see pumpkins, scarecrows, fallen leaves and other various fall related things. Additionally, this can provide more memories to this year of 2016 as the year 2017 is slowly coming to an end.

7. Store your summer things away (for now)

As much as summer clothing and decorations was the best, it's time to put them away. When doing so, this provides a closure which opens up the opportunity for fall to come in. Additionally, you can bring out your fall things since fall has finally arrived.

There are plenty of other ways, however, I resort to these methods the most whenever fall season arrives.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
