You've heard of "girl's night out" or "GNO." That's fun and all, but what if your group is more laid-back and would rather spend the night inside? I totally relate. However, just hanging out together inside can be pretty boring if you're just on your phones all night. So, instead, why not get some good snacks, make a fort or whatever and bond over some classic movies perfect for Girl's Night? Here's a list of seven movies that are perfect for keeping you and your girls entertained.

1. How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days

Kate Hudson stars as Andie, writer for big time magazine, who desperately wants to write pieces that feel more sentimental, which her boss denies. That is, until she and her boss make a bet that if she can make a guy break up with her in ten days, she can write about anything she wants. Unfortunately for Benjamin (played by McConaughey), he's chosen to be her unlucky victim. However, little does Andie know, Ben has also made a bet against her.

2. Bridesmaids

Starring big names such as Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, and Melissa McCarthy, five bridesmaids unite to support their friend and prepare her for her wedding. However, tensions rise between some of the bridesmaids and well, the wedding planning suddenly isn't as perfect as one would have hoped.

3. Freaky Friday

Freaky Friday is definitely one of my childhood classics and probably one of yours too. It's teenage angst and rebellion versus unfair parents in one movie. After tensions rise between Anna (played by Lohan) and her mom (played by Curtis), they swap bodies overnight and hilariously try to solve the problem.

4. 10 Things I Hate About You

Another movie about bets going wrong, this one centers around bad boy trying to make loner girl fall for him, while at the same time, her sister is using the bet against her as well so that she can go to prom. Yeah, it's a bit dramatic.

5. Easy A

Just like the movie cover says, a typical high school girl does a favor for a boy to save him from embarrassment. However, the favor gets out of hand with the rumors that come from it and suddenly Emma Stone is classified as the "easiest" girl in school.

6. 13 Going On 30

Starring Jennifer Garner, a girl is sick of being stuck as a thirteen-year-old and would rather be thirty. However, after a fateful wish comes true, she finds that being in her thirties isn't as great as she thought it would be.

7. Pitch Perfect Marathon

Pitch Perfect is probably one of the most popular movies out there right now, especially since part three will be coming out soon, so why not have a marathon with your girls before seeing part three? The movie focuses on acapella girl group "The Barden Bellas" trying to win competitions while also trying to navigate friendships, relationships, and the hell that is college.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
