Whenever my family and I are together, we play games. These are some of our favorite games to play, I hope you try them out and enjoy them just as much!

1. What Do You Meme?

This is a new game that came out and I luckily received it for Christmas. If your family has kids in it then I don’t think this game is the one to get. On Amazon it says “Warning: NOT intended for children.” because it has similar language in it to Cards Against Humanity.

2. 5 Second Rule

This game is more family-friendly, the box says 10+ years old and I agree. There are some easy cards like Name 3 Dog Breeds but there are also hard cards like Name 3 Toxic Chemicals. This game is a lot of fun because you don’t know what to expect. It’s one of those games where you might know the answer but since you have a time limit it makes it more difficult.

3. Clue

A classic game and one of my favorites. This is another family game that never gets old. The goal of the game is to guess who in the house committed the murder. It’s a mystery and very interactive. You are either guessing, moving your piece, or taking notes – you are never bored.

4. The Game of Things

This game is a 14+ age game, so I guess you could say it’s another family game. My family was gifted this for Christmas and it has been a lot of fun to play. People respond to a card and you guess who said what. It is a lot of fun to play, at first it can be a bit confusing but you get the hang of it.

5. Reverse Charades

I think this game is a lot of fun! You can play this without buying the game just like regular charades. The only difference between the charades is one of them has 1 person acting and everyone else guesses but this version has 1 person guesses and everyone else acts. If you like charades, you'll like reverse charades so give it a try!

6. Game of Phones

Nowadays it is rare to find someone without their phone in their hands if you agree then try this game. It turns your phone into the game piece, instead of yelling at people to get off their phones you will be doing the opposite. It is a fun game to play and I highly recommend it.

7. Bounce Off

I play this game with my mom a lot. I think the best way to play this game is to play it on our patio table. This table has cutouts in it so you never know which way the ball is going to bounce which add a lot more to the game. Basically, in this game, you have to bounce balls into a shape but you are racing against one other person and you are playing on the same board. You could try and block the other player from getting the shape or they could block you but you don't know where your ball will end up.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
