7 Feelings Every Extrovert Has

You just love social interaction...

An extrovert: the outgoing, chatty person who's always at the party, the '"social butterfly." Extroverts get their energy from social interaction, we are "people persons." You might know these feelings all too well if you're a fellow extrovert:

1. Every person you meet is your next best friend.

That guy on the elevator, the girl with cute sandals at the coffee shop, your dental hygienist — you envision them all as your new BFF. Hey, whoever chats with you is an ideal candidate.

2. "Downtime" is unproductive.

When others recommend "downtime," you're usually not too interested. Watch TV? Read a magazine? Take a... nap? Any "relaxing" activity is triumphed by a social activity in your mind. You try your hardest to incorporate "downtime" in your day, but it is just so hard.

3. Your "internal monologue" is non-existent.

"What's an internal monologue? Other people don't say everything they are thinking out-loud?"

4. You have a deep-seated concern that you irritate other people.

You understand that an extroverted personality can be overwhelming at times so you're constantly worried that those surrounding you will grow annoyed. This is absolutely, 100 percent the most anxiety-ridden aspect of your extroverted-personality.

5. People assume you're flirting with them.

What you see as an everyday conversation, others see as flirting. You really have no interest, though. Your only desire from this interaction was someone to talk to while your friend was in the bathroom.

6. The smallest things make you jump for joy.

You kind of get overly-excited about not-so-extraordinary occurrences.

7. You're thankful you're not shy.

You love being around others oh so much. You've come to realize that life would be difficult as the shy guy — and you've accepted your status as a "crazy extrovert."

Remember, the next time an extrovert sparks up a conversation, that we aren't all nuts. We just want to be friends and we love social interaction.

We are the "people persons," the "social butterflies," and the "chatty Cathys."

Stay golden, fellow extroverts.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
