Sometimes I find myself scanning through Netflix for an eternity trying to find something new to watch. But there is no greater feeling than laying in bed and watching hours of shows. I have put together seven shows that I have enjoyed during the past few years. Each of these shows are for a different audience, but they are all fantastic and will suck you in quickly.

1. Riverdale

Riverdale is a drama based off of the Archie comics. After the death of high school golden boy, Jason Blossom, the lives of his classmates take a dramatic turn.

This show is full of dark mystery and people with very nice hair. There is only one season on Netflix, but the second season will be premiering within the next few months. It is very action-packed and will keep you on your toes.

2. Parks and Recreation

The Office has been extremely popular within the past couple of years. Most people that I know love the crazy characters and stories within the office of Dunder Mifflin. Parks and Recreation is loaded with the same kind of humor.

A lot of crazy things happen within the parks department, and Leslie Knope will quickly make you laugh your head off with her comedic charm. There's seven seasons, so you will have a lot to watch! Each episode is a new adventure.

3. Pretty Little Liars

PLL is a show that I always come back to for more. If you are into mysterious dramas, this show will be perfect for you. Best friends Spencer, Hanna, Emily, and Aria undergo many mysteries after their friend Alison disappears. A whole lot happens within the eight seasons, and it is definitely a show worth spending hours watching.

4. New Girl

After watching the first couple episodes of New Girl, it quickly became one of my favorites. Bubbly girl, Jess, moves in with three single guys that she has never met.

Each of the guys are strange and don't quite have it all together. Every person in this show is hilarious and likable. It is very easy to watch, and you will find yourself falling in love with it after watching the first season.

5. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

This one is for my fellow weirdos. After being trapped in a bunker for fifteen years, Kimmy now has to figure out how to survive and live a normal life in New York. The humor in this show is very different than what you are used to, I promise.

Some of the jokes will go over your head, but you'll find yourself laughing quite a bit. The innocence of Kimmy makes her such an enjoyable character, and the situations she experiences are hysterical.

6. One Tree Hill

This is a show that is enjoyed by all ages. It takes place in a fictional town in North Carolina called Tree Hill. The characters start off in high school, but are grown up and mature by the last season.

It is interesting to see how they all turn out, and you will become extremely emotionally attached to some of the strong characters that are in all nine seasons. Overall, it is one show I would recommend to anybody.

7. Girlboss

This show is based off of a book, but there is only one season so far. Follow Sophia as she starts her own eBay store where she sells thrift shop clothes for more than she buys them for.

There are a lot of relatable moments in this show, such as feeling as though your life isn't together yet. This show will make you laugh, cry, smile, and frown. And if you enjoy sassy and sarcastic humor, this is the show for you.
