With two weeks left in the semester, summer's quickly approaching. Summer beauty staples include dewy skin, sun-kissed cheeks, peachy lips and shimmering eye makeup. Although applying makeup can be difficult at times (sorry, we weren't all born makeup artists), these six hand-picked products have got you covered, from all of your hot, sunny days outside to endless nights out.

1. Disney Minnie Beauty: Minnie's World in Color Eyeshadow Palette

This colorful eyeshadow palette has a wide array of colors - from vibrant purples and light blues to pale pinks. With adorable shades like "Mickey's Squeeze" and "Miss Minnie," how could you not fall in love with this palette from Sephora's new Minnie Mouse collection? The hues are perfect for long summer days and endless nights.

2. Dior Addict Lip Glow

This is not your average lip balm. The ultra-luxe feel of this Dior beauty is lightweight, moisturizing and provides lips with a healthy, sun-kissed glow in either a sheer pink or sheer coral. Just be careful not to lose this like all your other lip balms (RIP).

3. Milk Makeup Lip Marker

If you love drawing and using markers, you're in luck. This product was made for you. This literal lip marker serves as a "no-blot lip stain" that leaves your puckers with long-lasting, vibrant color. This super-cool product is affordable and definitely a must-have.

4. Benefit Cosmetics 1st Prize Highlighters

This set is under $20 and comes with three mini highlighters for easy-peasy highlighting and strobing. It's perfect for dewy, summer sun-kissed skin.

5. Guerlain Météorites Illuminating Powder Pearls

These adorable pearls are almost too cute to use. They add brightness to skin while eliminating flaws. Each pearl is made with special technology that corrects flaws and pigmentation in the skin.

6. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation SPF 15

This foundation, from Tarte's new collection, is ultra-lightweight, super-hydrating and moisturizing on your skin. Unlike some foundations, it won't dry the skin out or look "cakey." It's packed with antioxidants and made with 20% water. The best part? It stays on for up to 12 hours.

7. Marc Jacobs Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator

This portable highlighter compliments all skin tones and perfect for on-the-go mornings (i.e. when you're hungover and have zero time to get ready for brunch, overslept for work, etc.). It is quick to apply and easily glides onto skin to add that dewy look. Plus, it's literally as simple as applying a face-stick sunscreen.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
