In every friend group, there’s at least one person who hates scary movies. I am that friend. But, this, of course, does not stop me from watching scary movies. I regret watching them nearly every time and I have nightmares for weeks. However, there’s something enticing about scary movies. It’s the classic, “I want to look away, but I don’t want to miss anything” moment. So, I continue to watch scary movies and TV shows. That doesn’t, on the other side, stop me from getting scared.

1. “It’s rated PG-13, how bad can it be?”

2. “Oh, it has [insert actor’s name]! Don't mind if I do.”

3. “This might actually be good.”

4. “Nope, this is already stupid.”

5. “Why am I scared two minutes in?”

6. “The music is already terrifying.”

7. “Of course, the main characters are moving into a haunted house.”

8. “Just remember that this is not real.”

9. “They are fake people.”

10. "None of this happened.”

11. “OMG, there’s a dog!”

12. “Oh, God, don’t go in there alone.”

13. “They just heard a scream. Why aren’t they running away?”

14. “Why are they going toward the screaming?”

15. “Man, people are stupid.”

16. “Yeah, I wouldn’t go into the abandoned house.”

17. “OK, locking the door is good.”

18. “But, wait. Are they locking the killer out of the house? Or in?”

19. “Oh, please be careful.”

20. “Um, no, I don’t think splitting up to ‘cover more ground’ is a good idea.”

21. “Uh oh, the music’s back.”

22. “Someone’s gonna die.”

23. “It’s probably the dumb one.”

24. “Good, the music stopped.”

25. “Ahhhhhh, behind you!”

26. “Oh, she dead AF.”

27. "I wonder who’s next.”

28. “This isn’t that scary.”

29. “I can handle this.”

30. “Damn, my heart rate is 116.”

31. *Screams internally*

32. “I can sense something bad is going to happen.”

33. “I can’t look.”

34. “Oh, but I must see what’s going on.”

35. “How much longer of this torture?”

36. “Where’d the dog go?”

37. “I think he’s the killer.”

38. “Or maybe she is.”

39. “I wonder if there’s more than one killer.”

40. “Why did I do this to myself?”

41. “They better not hurt the dog.”

42. “How did they make a sequel for this?”

43. “This is just like every other horror movie.”

44. “Why am I even scared then?”

45. “I don’t think I’m going to be able to sleep tonight.”

46. “Why don’t they have any weapons?”

47. “Oh, good, the music’s back. . . again.”

48. “I’m sleeping with the lights on tonight.”

49. “That is if I’m able to sleep at all.”

50. “At least you can say you’ve watched this movie now.”

51. “How many characters are left?”

52. “Which ones have died again?”

53. “This movie is lowkey confusing.”

54. *More internal screaming*

55. “That came out of nowhere.”

56. “It has to be almost over by now.”

57. “Oh, that’s the killer.”

58. “I knew it. . . kinda. . . OK, I was completely off.”

59. “I am never doing that again.”

60. "That’s probably not true. . .”

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
