I will be the first to admit I'm a picky eater. I have my food zone and I barely ever go out of that zone. Due to being a picky eater, I have picked up some food habits that I get some stares for. So I've gather a list of some of those weird food habits that I live by. Don't judge too much.

1. Food Cannot Touch

I can not have my food touching. It just irks me. Especially if a liquid from like a fruit is going into my ketchup. It drives me crazy. I'm that person that will use two plates or several bowls to make sure they aren't touching.

2. Peanut Butter and Waffles

I won't eat a waffle without peanut butter on it. My mother always put peanut butter on my waffles, so I just thought everyone did that. It wasn't until I was older that I realized that some people find that strange. But I love peanut butter. I can eat it by the spoonful, so I feel it pair wells with waffle.

3. Just Cereal

I'm not a fan of milk. I will not put milk of any kind in my cereal. Yes, this is one of the habits I get the most questions about. It makes it an easy snack though. I'll just poor it into a ziploc bag and take it with me. Cereal doesn't need milk.

4. No Butter on Bread

I'm a lover of bread. I can eat bread all day long, even though it's not good for you. But I will not put butter on my bread. If it has melted butter on it already, I will eat it. But I won't just put a slab of butter on it.

5. Buttered Pasta

Over the years, I've tried different pasta sauces. I haven't liked a single one. I don't know why. I just don't. I eat my pasta plain or with just melted butter on it. That's it.

6. Ice Cream, No Shakes

I love ice cream. It makes me so happy. It's great, but I, for some reason, do not like shakes. A lot of people don't understand this one. To be honest, I don't either. I don't know what it is. I just don't like them.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
