Bracketology is a crucial part of March Madness. It makes the tournament incredibly interactive and fun to follow. You root for teams you may not root for during the regular season, you compete with your friends and their brackets, and it serves as a great distraction for midterm stress. Emotions run high all month, and who expresses his emotions more than the one and only Michael Scott? He knows exactly what you're feeling.
1. Making your bracket
Bracket making means March Madness is a go. Being confident about your pics (and not second-guessing a thing) is key. You must send confident vibes to your teams. You help them, they help you, everyone wins -- except for the teams you need to lose.
2. Placing bets
What's the point of making a bracket if you don't add a little ~friendly~ competition to the mix? Put a few bucks to the side, join a pool (or two or three) and watch your wallet's destiny unfold for the next few weeks.
3. Accepting the upsets
I'm all for a good upset. The game is way more entertaining and it makes for a great news story the next day. However, when it comes to my bracket, it usually leaves me upset (no pun intended). Just like the teams playing in the tournament, I'm looking to win.
4. When you've suffered a losing streak

5. When your team makes it to the Final Four
It is such a relief to have your picks make it this far in the tournament. Things are looking up for you. No matter what chaos your bracket has suffered, you know things are looking up if you still have a few teams hanging in there.
6. When your team wins the championship
It's all worth it in the end. Your team wins, so you're happy. Your bracket's back on top, so you probably won a pool or two. You're feeling great, your team is feeling better, and you can't wait to do it all over again next March.
