Not many people can say they have had the same best friend since Kindergarten, but I can. Now that we are older it's hard to remember exactly how we met, all I know is I'm so thankful that we did. Who would have thought two 5-year-old children could choose a best friend that could last 18 years and counting?

Being friends with someone for this long takes a lot of work. No matter what both of you have to be willing to put in the effort to keep the friendship going year after year. We had our fair share of fights, but they never lasted more than 48 hours. We both have gotten busy with our lives but have always found our way back to each other. I couldn't imagine having anyone else by my side through it all. We have made countless memories together over the years, and I cherish every single one.

When you're hard on yourself I wish you could see all the things I see!

1. You have the biggest heart.

Out of anyone I know you have the biggest heart. You do what you can to give back to the causes you're most passionate about.

2. I can trust you no matter what.

I tell you everything, and you're the first person I want to tell everything to! You've always been the one I could count on to tell my secrets to since I was a little girl. I know no matter what I can always trust you to be there for me.

3. You are so smart!

We are about to graduate in just a few short months and I'm so proud of us for finally getting our degrees!

4. You are beautiful.

You are always so critical of yourself. But you are beautiful inside and out! Don't be so hard on yourself all the time, I promise you look great!

5. I am your #1 Fan.

I am always rooting for you. When you doubt yourself know that I never do, you've got this! I also know you're my biggest fan too. Even when I'm scared I might fail you're always in my corner cheering me on.

6. Without you I wouldn't be the person I am today.

You've helped me discover confidence and have helped me grow into the person I am today. Without your friendship my life wouldn't be the same. Thank you for always being by my side the past 18 years, I love you best friend.
