Six Reasons Why Rompers Are The Best Item Of Clothing

If you need one thing in your closet this summer, it is a romper. I am starting a collection of about eight. I admit I have a slight obsession. If you think about it, rompers are just grown up onesies. Rompers are basically a grown up version of infant clothing. However, they are one of the trendiest garments this summer. I have found a new obsession with rompers, wearing them every day that I can. I would choose a romper over pants or shorts any day this summer. Here are a few reasons why:

1. One stop outfit.

Rompers are the greatest things because they are only one piece. You do not need to pick out a top and a bottom. No need to stand in your closest and ponder what will look good together. Just grab a romper, throw it on, and get on with your day.

2. Hello...comfort!

Rompers might not look like the most comfy things, but until you put one on and see how comfortable it actually is, your summer will be changed for the better. Rompers are usually made out of cotton, which is one comfy fabric. Rompers aren't tight, so you don't have to worry about clothes sticking to you on a hot day.

3. They allow for many activities.

Since rompers are basically onesies, you do not have to worry about flashing people or always sitting like a lady. Rompers are tricky because they can look like a dress at times, but they are really shorts. This allows for many activities that you cannot do if you are wearing a dress.

4. They are flattering for all body types.

Like I said earlier, rompers are normally looser. Therefore rompers can look good on everyone. If you have long legs, your legs will look even longer in a romper. If you are a shorty like me, add a pair of wedges and your short legs will look longer than ever.

5. You can dress up or keep it casual.

You can wear a romper anywhere; a date, baseball game, picnic, to the pool – anywhere you can think of. Just add accessories or a pair of wedges to make it dressier. If you are just running errands, throw on a pair of strappy sandals, and you still look cute even though you are going for a more casual look.

6. There is only one problem: going to the bathroom.

There is only one bad thing that I could possibly think of about rompers. Going to the bathroom in a romper is a long, annoying process. Rompers look all cute and dandy until you have to pee. Yes, you have to take the romper almost completely off so you are practically peeing naked. It is not the most fun thing, but you have to pay the price to rock an adorable romper.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
