I recently came back to my summer job here back home and I just thought to show a little appreciation for the job that helped me survive senior year (and going into my super senior year)
1. Everyone knows you
With me returning to my summer job this past week, everyone was so welcoming and inviting upon my arrival. I loved it. They asked me how I was, and what the next steps were post graduation.
2. You still have the appropriate uniform
I think this is the best, you don't even have to ask for more work shirts or anything. You have them all ready to go! Looking sharp as per usual.
3. You remember everything you did when you last worked
Well, almost everything, some things require a jog of the memory but otherwise, it's like riding a bike.
4. You get perks that newbies don't
Like driving privileges for one, and a private office.
5. They really love you to want you back
I mean, this kinda speaks for itself. You have to be good at the job in order to be asked back.
6. You wouldn't hesitate to say yes to returning
And you wouldn't have it any other way. Between the people and the work, it's a comfortable journey back home.
