If there's anything I love, it's a really good vacation. Send me across Europe and I'll rave about the different cafes and amazing views and places to see and visit or send me to the Caribbean and I'll tell you why an all inclusive is the way to go with all of the beaches and pools to lay out or drinks to drink.

I recently ventured to Bermuda and here are six reasons you should go there, in no specific order:

1. Boats, boats, boats

If you love being on a boat, this is the place for you. You can ferry to different parts of the island or book five different boat tours in a day and spend your time touring the island from a boat. It's got gorgeous views and crystal clear blue waters and I promise you, one of the best views is from the hundreds of boats on the island. You can even go out on night tours, such as a glass bottom boat, to see a shipwreck and nightlife in the ocean.

2. The locals

Bermuda has such rich history and the locals will tell you all about it in the most interesting way. They can point out all of the old buildings and tell you the history behind them. They'll tell you what they like to do and send you to some of the coolest spots. They're extremely friendly because they thrive off tourism and they're almost all in the service business, so you know they're not being fake.

3. The houses

Fun fact: Bermuda is extremely expensive (to visit and to live there), but they have some of the coolest houses. You can actually take a boat tour that will point out some of the coolest houses of famous people who live or lived there. They also have an awesome history behind their houses, like they don't have a water source at the island itself, so they collect rainwater and disinfect it to you.

4. The views

On a boat looking at the island, it's stunning. On the island, looking out, it's gorgeous. On one of the hills of the island, it's like a dream. Down a random street towards stores, at the pastel houses, of the flowers, it doesn't matter, it's all pretty to look at. Pretty sure no matter where you look, the picture you're taking is going to be incredible. It's one of those places that even when it's stormy, it still is so cool to look at that you feel like you're living in a dream. And trust me when I say, vacationing there is like a dream.

5. The weather

Being from the northeast where we get snow and rain and all types of weather, this island is pretty phenomenal. It's not in the Caribbean, so it's not 80 every day, but it's definitely nice weather. You're off the coast of South Carolina, so you're definitely in warmer weather, and the lows in the winter get to... Wait for it... 60 degrees! So it's never freezing your buns off cold, but it gets chilly so you could bundle a little. The weather in the summer is beautiful and warm and sunny. How could you not like that?

6. Hello... The beaches!

This one is pretty self-explanatory. It's gorgeous. It's crystal clear water. You can see fish, you can see coral, you can see your toes in the sand, you can see your toes in the water. What's not to love? Soak up the sun, take a million photos and love your time on this beautiful island.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
