1. Fuzzy socks

How can you go wrong with socks that keep your toes warm? Besides the warmness, they also come in different patterns. Some even have Aloe in them for the moisture of your skin.

2. Gas cards

You can never go wrong with gas cards. People need gas for their cars for transportation and gas keeps raising and dropping every day. Wake up, people! We were once close to $4.00 a gallon. That’s ridiculous. Gas cards are perfect solution

3. Money

Some of us fear that if we give money, the other person will feel like you really didn’t care and just gave them money as a last minute present. WRONG! We love money. Money gets us things that we want. Life isn’t free. We work and get money to buy things and be successful in life. Sometimes it’s better to just give money than to waste time picking out a gift that a person may not like.

4. Gift cards

If you don’t feel comfortable giving someone money, give them a gift card. Find out where they like to go and get them a gift card to go there. If you don’t know what that person likes, then buy one of those easy activation visa cards. Some people feel cool because they can swipe a card instead of pulling out their wallet/purse and revealing how much cash they have.

5. A shopping spree

Shopping is not actually a gift but if you take them shopping, they can show you what they like. The easiest way to do this would be to find a sale in a store. “Ooh JCPenney is having a sale and I want to go look.” This will lure them in and they will automatically find something they want when you get there.

6. Pictures with frames

They remind you of memories that you and that person have had together. Whether it’s the AWESOME vacation you took a couple years ago or a picture of them with cake on their face. Memories are apart of our lives. They signify who we are as individuals and they can reveal a lot about our personality.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
