Here is my list for the top 4 experiences every college student has had during finals!
1. I got this
The feeling before you look at your notes briefly tricking you into ignorant bliss that there is nothing to fear. You went to class and should be able to learn the information quickly. So you put off studying. You maybe even wait midway through the day before the test to even pull your notes out. This is something that happens more than it should.
2. I don't got this
The feeling you get upon first opening your notes. You glance over the information and wonder where you have been the last couple of class periods. The panic comes over you that you don't actually know what is happening, that maybe you should have opened your notes a couple days ago, and maybe have started making notecards. Who even knew math was so complex?
3. The stress
The stress that comes with waiting until the last minute to look at your notes. You begin calculating what score is needed to pass the class. It takes everything in your not to break down from the stress. The feeling that you should have gone to talk to your teacher to see what that grade you need. The hope is you will not have to stress as much.
4. The tears that come with the all nighter
The tears that come when from sleep deprivation and from studying more than humanly possible. The stress finally gets to you. Unfortunately, for the Java City employee, he catches the stress and caffeine episode, hope he is being paid by the counseling department. This is the time where you are trying to learn everything you did in the class in one night. The night before the test at that. This involves lots of tears and coffee.
