In lieu of the recent discovery of water on Mars, I thought it would be appropriate to talk about space. First off I think space is an absolutely amazing thing that we know very little about to this day despite all the recent discoveries. Space is so enormous it's almost unfathomable. In my opinion it's almost silly not to believe that there is not another form of life out there somewhere.
I have always been really into space and learning just how different things are out there. There is so much mystery and unanswered questions and I think that is what makes it so great. Not having all the answers, leaving you with a sense of wonder and curiosity is a beautiful thing.
Like I stated earlier, I firm believer that there is life in space. I'm not saying I know how, but I can't see Earth being the only planet throughout the universe to produce life. Just to put it into perspective, we can fit a total of 1 million Earths inside the sun. That's 1 million! In the grand scheme of things, we are truly just a tiny spec of what is really all out there. Some scientists suggest that our massive solar system is just a tiny piece, or atom, of a much larger system or organism. This is only a theory but many scientists found evidence that supports it which is a bit terrifying. With these ideas being tossed around it really does seem selfish of us to think we don't share this crazy thing we call space with anyone else.
With the recent discover of water on Mars, I think we are getting closer and closer to reaching a break through. I truly hope that in our lifetime we get to discover some other form of life out there. But there is no telling when or even if that will ever happen. I could be completely wrong, but that's the beauty of space. Nobody knows for sure! Who knows when we will get all the answers. In 100 years from now, space as we know it could be completely different. Everyday, new discoveries are being made and technology is constantly advancing to bring us just a little bit closer to all the answers. Or maybe it's a good thing we don't have all the answers.
