Moving home from college for summer is quite the ordeal.

From packing up your room, to packing the car to readjusting to living at home again, here are 50 thoughts every college student experiences during the process:

1. I don’t have time for this.

2. How am I going to fit all of my stuff in the car?

3. I’m not that good at Tetris.

4. Why do I have so much stuff?

5. Wait, I have to unpack all this stuff too?

6. I’m bringing less stuff with me next year.

7. I think I want to redecorate my room.

8. There’s only one flight of stairs to my room!

9. I think I want to burn my books.

10. Actually, they were expensive.

11. I’ll just burn my notebooks.

12. I don’t even want to think about academics.

13. When do final grades come out?

14. I’m going to visit all my college friends.

15. I can’t wait to see all my high school friends.

16. I should probably ask if my friends can come over.

17. I just want to go to the beach.

18. Woo hoo! A shower with no flip flops.

19. My bed is so close to the ground.

20. I don’t want to leave my bed.

21. What’s next on Netflix?

22. Yay, real food!

23. Wait, you mean I have to cook?

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
